Carson Group buys $570m Colorado RIA

Carson Group is adding to its Colorado presence with the acquisition of a Denver-area RIA.

The mega-RIA said Tuesday it has agreed to buy Wambolt & Associates, based south of the Mile High City, in Littleton. Wambolt manages about $570m in assets and is led by founder and managing partner Greg Wambolt.

Specific financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
