Mubadala Capital, an asset management subsidiary of Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Company, has agreed to take Canadian asset manager and RIA financier CI Financial private via an all-cash offer that values the company at roughly $8.66bn (CAD $12.1bn)
